I was informed that it was almost impossible to fold a piece of paper in half over 8 times, however a person has achieved folding a piece of paper in half 12 times. So my challenge to everyone for the night was to fold a piece of paper in half 9 times. Very improbable, right? That’s what I thought right before the pastor’s nephew won my IRLG challenge for the night. We start round 3 next week, expect somethings to be a little more difficult. You might see a new side to the same leaf a little. Wink walked away with a $55 gift card to WalMart (to be awarded at a special ceremony this coming 8teen:twenty)

This week’s IRLG is half physical, half mental and all completely possible. A Jr in high school achieved the feat and even wrote a book about it. Can you do what a 16 year old girl can do? We’ll see at this week’s 8teen:twenty. Prize card is up to $55 this week.

This week’s challenge will be physical. No athletic skill requires. You simply have to know your right from your left (cheek that is). Should be an eye opening experience. The IRLG pot is up to $50 Wal Mart gift card. SOmebody should be winning soon. The IRLG returns with a bang this coming 8teen:twenty. What will it be? Mental or physical? The first five people who tell me the year this game came out will receive bonus points on his weeks IRLG. Is that fair? It is to the students who check the site out on a regular basis. For everyone else, well you should probably know jack.

This weeks IRLG was a matching language game. Students were presented with John 3:16 written in ten different languages. They then had to correctly match 8 out of 10 languages or get the bonus round worth three extra points. Need less to sya no winner was found for tonight. So, the winner’s pot is now at a copy of “Venti Jesus, Please” and now $25 gift card at WalMart. Take a look at the slides and see if you can get them all right.

Improbably Really Long Game? What’s all that about? Well, it used to be the Impossible Never Ending Game until one of my student pointed out that with God Nothing is impossible (Phil 4:13) and that only God never ends, so we had a name change. does that help you out any? probably not yet, Ok, here goes. The IRLG is played most weeks at 8teen:twenty. Each week $5 is added to a WalMart gift card until someone wins. Most of the activities are fairly difficult to complete correctly. We rotate each week between a physical challenge and a mental challenge. I try to post the challenges up online each week so you can show your friends how mean Pastor Rodney truly is. Hey, maybe I’ll turn over a new leaf again soon. Until then, B DFRNT!
