Well the mission trip is over. We had fun, we got tanned, and we made new friendships. Wait a minute, was this a mission trip or a summer vacation? Thankfully we were able to see fruit as well as 1,507 people made decisions to follow Christ as their Lord and Savior (two of them in our own group). We passed out over 1200 VBS flyers, helped over 100 kids at the soccer clinics, helped minister to over 1700 people at the family fair and we personally knocked on close to 75 doors and shared the Gospel numerous times. This was an amazing missions trip. We also studied the books of James and Jude. I wanted to share with you 10 Verses that we should probably remember form our studies. I would call them memory verses, but we all know how far we get with those.

1. James 1:2-4 (NASB)
2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

2. James 1:12 (NASB)
12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

3. James 1:17 (NASB)
17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

4. James 1:19-20 (NASB)
<sup>19 </sup>This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger;
20 for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.
5. James 1:22 (NASB)
22 But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.

6. James 1:26-27 (NASB)
26 If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless.
27 Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

7. James 2:17-20 (NASB)
17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
18 But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”
19 You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.
20 But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless?
8. James 4:7 (NASB)
7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

9. James 5:13-16 (NASB)
13 Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises.
<sup>14 </sup>Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;
15 and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

10. Jude 24-25 (NASB)
24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,
25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

Each day we’ll post a page that you can print and work though. The goal is to work through the book of John and learn a few things about God along the way. i would suggest you work through each day’s study with a partner, someone you know and trust. Today is just an intro, but I think it puts us into the correct mindset for much more. Leave comments/questions below.
